Detail Form Definition

ObjGen can automatically create master/detail forms based on primary & foreign key relationship information defined in the source database. The Form will generate with a fully editable data grid that accepts modifications, additions and deletions of records that are related to the primary form's record. In our example, we show you the detail record definition for the Northwind 'Order Details' table which is related to the table 'Orders'. Once a detail record source is defined, you can choose which data fields will appear in the data grid. The Form Object, once generated will contain all the code to manage, navigate and display the data contained in the underlying database table.
