Class Object Definition - Template Code
When the project is defined to use code templates, Class objects will have an associated code template that will be used as the basis for its generation into the target environment. In our example, we show a class object that will be defined from a code template that implements a Visual Basic class module that is capable of connecting to an ADO data source for selecting, inserting, updating and deleting records in an underlying database table.
ObjGen's template language lets the user define template variables that can be referenced throughout the script to generate code. Each template variable referenced will be replaced with their defined values in the generated code. Template code can be edited and saved directly from each object's code editor window.
